Borrello (Ch) – Breathtaking waterfall views, trekking paths, picnics, games for children

A breathtaking natural spectacle, with waters flowing between limestone rock walls and a rich biodiversity of both fauna and flora, nature trails, a picnic area and children’s games.

The Cascate del Verde are the highest natural waterfalls in the Apennines and among the most impressive in Italy, with a total drop of over 200 meters divided into three leaps.

The waterfalls are accessible all year round until sunset, but the best time to visit them is during spring, when the water flow is greater and the surrounding nature is in full bloom.

To visit the waterfalls, it is possible to follow various well-marked paths within the reserve, such as the “Sentiero Natura“, the “Sentiero Vecchio Mulino” or the “Sentiero Cascate del Verde” which allow you to immerse yourself in the local flora and fauna.

At the entrance to the reserve, after parking for free, you will find the ticket office where you can purchase the entrance ticket. There are also Picnic areas, barbecues and a playground for the little ones included in the entrance ticket.
