The Magnola Snowpark in Ovindoli is one of the most interesting in central Italy and has nothing to envy of the more well-known Alpine snowparks.
Winter alpine sports: alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, telemark, snowboarding, freestyle, freeride, snowkite and Nordic walking.
The area is equipped with a dedicated ski lift and a chillout area with music. The skicross track that runs alongside the snowpark along the Anfiteatro slope.
The Magnola Snowpark, located at 1980m. high, it develops along the Amphitheater slope and is made up of four lines to guarantee fun for riders of all levels. Three are slopestyle lines (easy, medium and hard) made up of kickers and boxes or rails in sequence and one entirely dedicated to jibbing.
The complete set-up offers over 30 conkicker structures from 2 to 22 meters and boxes and rails of many different sizes and difficulties.
The winter sports resort of Ovindoli (skiing and snowboarding) called “MONTE MAGNOLA IMPIANTI” (1500-2000 meters above sea level) is located in the heart of the Velino-Sirente Regional Park, in the characteristic setting of the mountains of the Abruzzo Apennines. Thanks to its exposure to the North, Monte Magnola is able to offer one of the longest ski seasons in Central Italy, giving the possibility of skiing from the beginning of December to the beginning of May, on average 130 to 150 days a year.
