The Pescasseroli ski resort offers wide and varied possibilities for sports and winter holidays: downhill slopes, efficient ski lifts, programmed snow, services, cross-country skiing rings and an infinite number of paths to follow in harmony with the nature, with the same philosophy as its splendid park.
There is also a snow tubing facility, open all year round. Strategic base for countless ski mountaineering excursions or more simply with snowshoes.

The most interesting slopes for cross-country skiing wind through the valley – plateau of Macchiarvana, between Pescasseroli and Opi.
In the ski area there are three chairlifts (of which a four-seater automatic coupling, the Orsa Maggiore, reaches 1820 m near the top of Monte Vitelle; the three-seater chairlift reaches 1800 m on Monte Ceraso) and two ski lifts which serve beautiful alpine ski slopes for about 20 km in total. Of note is the black Direttissima that descends from Monte Vitelle, with breathtaking slopes, some off-piste variations, but the other routes also satisfy good level skiers.

Pescasseroli is the most important center of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park.
For beginners, in the valley there is a treadmill and the Orsa Minore chairlift which serves the Orsetta slopes and the final part of the Direttissima.
There are various possibilities for freeriding such as the woods to the right of the chairlift or the Sole track, while for lovers of Nordic skiing there are some tracks in the Macchiavarna area about 12 km from Pescasseroli.
