TOUR FROM SULMONA TO PETTORANO SUL GIZIO
We will cross Piazza XX with the statue of Ovid, we will have the opportunity to see the complex of the Santissima Annunziata, the Medieval Aqueduct which, with its suggestive staircase in river pebbles, offers a of the most beautiful views of the city, until you reach Porta Napoli, the southern gate of access to the city of Sulmona.
After leaving Corso Ovidio we will immerse ourselves in the rich naturalistic landscape that will take us to Pettorano sul Gizio, skirting the Gizio River for much of the route.
Having arrived in the beautiful village, we will visit the Cantelmo Castle, which dominates the entire Peligna Valley, and then continue on a tour through the narrow alleys, to discover small corners of the village that are truly enchanting for the eyes and for the soul.
Before departing towards Sulmona, a glass of good Abruzzo wine awaits us, in the beautiful panoramic point overlooking the Santa Margherita Valley.
