Sasso di Castalda (Pz) – Two spectacular Tibetan bridges, sports bridges and via ferratas, guaranteed adventure

The sky with a finger, suspended in the void 120 meters from the ground crossing not one but two Tibetan Bridges, the “Petracca Bridge” and the adrenaline-filled “Ponte alla Luna”, experiencing an unforgettable experience.

Spectacular acrobatic and naturalistic circuit with two free-span Tibetan bridges.

The thrill of the steps close together and the emptiness below. Upon arrival, a suggestive panoramic glass terrace awaits you from which you can enjoy the entire panorama.

In addition to the Tibetan Bridges it is possible to try your hand at crossing the Tibetan Sports Bridges or with the Vie Ferrate and even with the Acrobatic Gym

 

THE TIBETAN BRIDGES
The route of the Tibetan bridges of Sasso di Castalda develops on the banks of the “Fosso Arenazzo” which opens right at the foot of the suggestive historic centre.

First Bridge “Ponte Petracca”
From the historic center, you reach the start of the first bridge, “Ponte Petracca” 95 meters long and suspended at about 30 meters high, through which you reach the side characterized by geological formations.

Second Bridge “Bridge to the Moon”
The highest and longest Tibetan free-span and plank walkway in the world.

Following the path along the bank of the Fosso you pass the votive chapel “Madonna delle Grazie” to reach the start of the impressive “Ponte alla Luna” in 10 minutes.

Through a single span of 300 meters and suspended in the void at a height of 102 meters from the stream below, literally walking in the air you arrive at the ruins of the castle which dominates the village from a suggestive panoramic point.

Skywalk
The arrival is a glass terrace overlooking the bridge, which invites you to catch your breath as you complete the route undertaken.

In the immediate vicinity, from the ancient ruins of the Medieval Fortress there is a viewpoint with rotating binoculars from which you can admire a 360-degree panorama of the surrounding mountains.

Going down a comfortable stretch of stone stairs you return towards the historic center passing through the characteristic recently restored church of “San Nicola”.

The total duration of the route of the two Tibetan bridges is approximately 1 hour.
