RIVER WALKING + RAFTING
During this activity you will always be accompanied by an expert guide.
The route is divided into two phases: in the initial one we will do river walking by walking in the river; later, for the second phase, we will meet other guides waiting for us with dinghies along the route, to begin the rafting journey up to the disembarkation point from the river. We are sure that experiencing the river from two different points of view will amaze you!
FULL MOON / MOON LIGHT RAFTING
It consists of a night rafting descent of about an hour, which is carried out during the night of the full moon (FULL MOON RAFTING) or during the evenings preceding it (MOONLIGHT RAFTING).
We start right in front of our base, in San Primo, when the moon illuminates the river best. It will be a magical and surreal atmosphere, we will be illuminated only by the light of the moon.
The River Tribe Base is a small paradise: green space, hammocks, swimming pool and bar service are available from the afternoon. You can spend a pleasant day waiting for the protagonist of the evening, the Moon, to share together, on a rafting descent, the wonders that mother nature has given us.
Before the descent you can take advantage of a voucher for an aperitif or a drink at our Jungle Bar, included in the price.
RAFTING NO LIMITS
Do you want to discover the wonderful Lao Canyon in a full immersion day? With River Tribe it is possible and it will be a crescendo of emotions.
The dinghy route starts in Laino Borgo and ends with disembarkation in Papasidero. Small jumps, waterfalls, exciting rapids, majestic rock walls, lush vegetation and crystal clear water will accompany us along the entire journey.
You will always be accompanied by a guide on the dinghy who will explain everything there is to know about the river.
We will stop along the banks and have a lunch just like those eaten on an expedition, with the best of the typical local products: we are sure that you will be pleasantly surprised! At the end of lunch, we will set off again with the rafting up to Papasidero, where our drivers will be waiting for us to return to the base together.
Those who practice rafting try their hand at descending rapids in rivers or streams which, depending on the degree of difficulty, offer adrenaline-filled moments. Normally a crew is made up of 7 people: six passengers, who, thanks to the use of paddles, are the propulsive force and a guide, who through commands and his own skills creates fun and safe trajectories.
FAST RAFTING & FURIOUS
For those who are not satisfied with Grand Canyon Rafting and want to challenge their limits… 29 km of navigation in one go: impossible to resist Fast & Rafting Furious, River Tribe’s most challenging activity!

You will always be accompanied by a guide on the dinghy who will explain everything you need to know about the river…and furthermore, for the more fearless, it will be possible to try the FLIP, or the tipping of the dinghywith the related recovery operations.

ARCHEO GEO RAFTING EXPEDITION
The peculiarity of this expedition compared to the others is the technical-scientific approach, with information from both an archaeological and geological point of view.
You will experience the Lao Canyon to the fullest as it is one of the geosites recognized within the UNESCO Geopark. At the end of the first part of the river on the first day, we will stop at Loc. Campicello where we will spend the night with tents.
From here we will walk along an old path that leads to the GROTTA DEL ROMITO, an Upper Paleolithic site containing one of the oldest testimonies of prehistoric art in Italy and among the most important at a European level. Engraved on a boulder we find the famous figure of a bull.
We will spend the night in a tent near the river and around a fire: it will be a magical moment, we will admire a breathtaking starry sky and we will share unforgettable moments. The next day we will start again with the rafting expedition to the landing located in Papasidero, and then return to the base with a transfer service.

Guides today are recognized with the FI.Raft patent with training courses ranging from 2nd degree patents suitable for those who work in not too demanding rivers, up to 5th degree patents which allow you to work thanks to the skills acquired in very demanding rivers. challenging.
