Frà Giovanni Waterfall
It is a few meters high and is located in the municipality of San Sosti, near the fountain of the same name, a short distance from the historic center.
Immersed in the lush flora that grows along the banks of the Rosa River, where you can admire poplars, walnuts, alders, elderberries and other Mediterranean plants.
Coming from San Sosti, it is accessed via a wooden bridge that connects the two banks of the Rosa River.
The bridge is accessible only on foot.
It’s an ideal place for a picnic with family or friends.
It’s easily accessible on foot from the historic center of the village, near a fountain of the same name and along the road to the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Pettoruto.
Location and Access
It can be accessed from the village of San Sosti, in the upper Esaro Valley, between the Pellegrino and Orsomarso mountains. The place is perfect for short hikes, with a cool, wild environment, suitable for families and nature lovers.
