In the sixties one of the symbols of the dolce vita in Italy, becoming famous for its Hollywood hangouts, for its typical restaurants overlooking the splendid panorama of the gulf

It can be reached by boats that leave daily for this little earthly paradise.

Entrance is free, only transportation on traditional wooden boats is subject to payment through the company that provides transport Marechiaroinbarca

The site can accommodate a limited number of bathers, which is why the lines to access it are long.

You can bring umbrellas and deck chairs and if you want more tranquility, still in Marechiaro you can choose to stop at the Acque Mineralim area reachable by boat, where you can dive in front of a breathtaking view, and still reach the Grotta dei Tuoni, so called for the noise that the surf produces between its walls

Riva Fiorita (Via Ferdinando Russo 21)
A charming little port with a tiny but splendid beach set between historic villas, such as Villa Rosebery and Villa Volpicelli (known to fans of Un posto al sole).

There is also the possibility of renting dinghies, canoes and small boats. There are also numerous restaurants in the area, such as the famous “Giuseppone a mare” and the Bar del Mare.

A characteristic of this area is the clear, blue-green sea, which has little to envy of overseas beaches. Here, the nuns of a nearby convent, now in disuse, used to come to cool off and enjoy a small earthly paradise.
