As tradition, the Blueberry Festival takes place, a summer event in which the following are organised: tastings with the possibility of purchasing local blueberries, guided trekking, entertainment for children, a market of typical products.
Visitors will be able to purchase the delicious berries. Guided hike to follow. the expert collectors.
Many products based on this juicy fruit that grows in the area, high craftsmanship stalls, blueberry-based desserts.
Two days of tastings with the possibility of purchasing local blueberries, guided trekking.

From old cupboard cakes, cooked following grandmother’s classic recipes, to more elaborate desserts passing through the “mirtillino”, a typical liqueur of this area.
Organized by the Lizzano proloco, the festival aims to bring the visitor back to the customs of the past by tasting what are now sought after dishes and which were then the main source of sustenance for the resident population.
This is the case of ciaccio lizzanese, a sort of piadina produced with a dough based on chestnut flour.
On Sunday it will also be possible to see the blueberry pickers in action by following them along the Corno alle Scale paths. The excursion starts in the morning and involves a 2 and a half hour walk.

Membership must be forwarded to the Madreselva cooperative and booking is also mandatory to set up the different groups.
