A simple walk, relaxing in the sun or shade on the deckchairs available for customers, walking in the surrounding woods, fishing or spending a pleasant afternoon on the banks of the river and, for the more intrepid, swimming.
A short journey to reach the Porchia lakes via the path that starts from Lizzano in Belvedere, perfect for spending an afternoon in contact with nature. It is also possible to travel this stretch by bicycle or e-bike.
The entrance to the path is located in the Piastrella area: here the signs for the CAI 147a path begin, which must be followed up to Porchia passing through Casale. First you cross a chestnut grove, where you can see a casone (chestnut dryer) still functioning. You then arrive at Casale and continue into the woods, where you can observe a votive shrine.
Once out of the trees it will be enough to walk to the Porchia lakes along the asphalt road. For the return you can choose to retrace your steps or return to Lizzano via the road.
From Porchia you can also reach the river, where you can walk or relax sunbathing.

Porchia is open every weekend in April, May, June, September and October and every day in July and August.
Sport fishing lake for trout of various species, presence of a grill where you can cook freshly caught trout, possibility of taking a walk on the paths that lead into the woods located near the lake.
