Observe tropical butterfly species up close, observe their life cycle in nurseries, and learn many interesting facts about the world of these colorful and delicate insects.

The Butterfly Eden Butterfly House is located inside the Trastevere Botanical Garden and is a Tropical Greenhouse where hundreds of butterflies of many species fly freely in an environment recreated like a rainforest.

A air-conditioned and illuminated tensile structure, equipped with wooden walkways and misting systems to recreate the ideal tropical environment for butterflies.

Inside, tropical butterflies and moths fly freely, accompanied by naturalists who illustrate their life cycle, the meaning of their plumage, and their ecological role.

The facility is wheelchair accessible. Strollers are not permitted in the greenhouse to protect the butterflies.
Entrance to the Butterfly House is separate from the Botanical Garden (separate ticket)
