The Central Lake Park or EUR Lake Park (from Esposizione Universale Romana) or simply Laghetto dell’Eur is loved by children and teenagers but also by families, it is one of the most beautiful parks in Rome South which will allow you to spend a beautiful day surrounded by greenery.
The Laghetto dell’Eur offers many opportunities for recreation and sport.
In spring, during the “Hanami” period or when the Sakura trees, the cherry trees along the entire Japan Promenade, bloom, the chromatic show is fantastic and exciting.

Eur Central Park lake

Waterfall Park
Waterfall Gardens, a small park within the park, with Gardens alongside a waterfall whose waters end in the lake, and a series of smaller fountains and waterfalls. With the water jets in operation it is truly a small wonder.
The central waterfall is crossed by the beautiful Hashi bridge made with glass flooring, so you can see the water under your feet.
Green lawns and avenues
A succession of green meadows where you can stop to have a picnic, sunbathe or play with children and dogs. The lawns are interrupted by avenues with benches surrounding the pond.
Walk of Japan
A pedestrian and cycle path inside the Park adorned with Sakuras, Japanese cherry trees given as a gift by the Prime Minister of Japan visiting Italy in the 1950s.
Since then, Hanami (flower observation) has been repeated every year, that is, the traditional Japanese “rite” linked to the pleasure of observing the beauty of the Sakura, walking among the trees and having picnics in their shade, often wearing a Kimono and consuming traditional foods.
It is not a real celebration with a pre-established date, rather a period in which visitors are invited to walk and linger in the shade of the dozens of cherry trees in bloom.
It is possible to make a Tour of the Lake by Ferry or by Gondola or by Pedalo in the shape of a Swan or a Car. Furthermore, a Rental service for Boats, SUPs and Waterbikes (Bikes with inflatables for pedaling on the water)
Eur outdoor gym
A free area for practicing physical activity with free body fitness machines. They are located in the Belvedere area, near the Garden of the Waterfalls. An evocative space, open every day to the public from 7:00 to 18:00.

The Park has no fences and is always open.
It is located in the Eur district, easily reachable by public transport, using Metro B, Eur Palasport or Eur Fermi stops. Nearby is the Luneur Park, an amusement park for children.
