Prepare to be amazed by its beauty and enjoy moments of pure relaxation in a breathtaking landscape.

The Trevi Waterfall is a splendid natural waterfall located in the Simbruini Mountains Regional Natural Park.
A must-see, just a few minutes away, for those who love nature, history and archaeology.

It is located along the Aniene River, in the locality of Comunacque (an ancient name meaning “common waters”), just before the confluence with the Simbrivio stream.
It is considered one of the hidden wonders of the Simbruini Mountains: a corner of paradise with crystal-clear waters, lush vegetation and a waterfall over 20 meters high that creates a magical, cool, and refreshing atmosphere.

The site combines natural beauty, history (with Roman archaeological remains, perhaps linked to Emperor Claudius’s Anio Novus aqueduct), and a touch of mysticism.
Still visible are the ruins of a villa and impressive hydraulic works, built with square megalithic blocks.

Remains of industrial archaeology are also clearly visible in the area, having also been used for the construction of one of the first hydroelectric power plants.

Easily accessible with a short walk (tourist trail no. 1) starting from the bridge on the SP 29 to Trevi nel Lazio.

There’s a nearby parking lot, and the short, well-marked trail (5 minutes) is quite easy (watch out for some slippery rocks, especially when wet). Very easy, even for small children. No strollers.

You can also Swim, but be careful, the water is freezing cold.
