Naturalistic excursions for adults and children to spot cetaceans (Whale Watching) in their natural environment

The excursion in the heart of the “Cetacean Sanctuary” is suitable for audiences of all ages and has as its objective the research and observation of the 8 species of cetaceans that populate the marine area established by Italy, France and the Principality of Monaco.

A biologist is always present on board the vessel to comment on sightings, providing information and curiosities, and collecting important scientific data for research.

The excursion has a total duration of approximately 4 and a half hours, regardless of the embarkation point.

– Bird Watching
The Pelagos Sanctuary is not only home to cetaceans, but is also inhabited by many species of sea birds, which you can observe and learn to recognize both during our whale excursions watchingand, above all, in the tours and excursions organized specifically for bird watching lovers.

The Sunday Bird Watching excursion by sea lasts approximately 4 and a half hours, entirely spent at sea together with the scientific staff of the Liguria Via Mare Consortium

The port ornithological tour (Birdtour of the port of Genoa) lasts approximately 2 hours, of which 45 minutes of frontal bird watching lesson, held on board by the biologist and naturalistic guide Gabriella Motta, and 1 now 15 minutes of port navigation to immediately put into practice everything you have learned (how to use binoculars, how to recognize seabirds, how to photograph them best… and much more!).
