La Torre del Sole Astronomical Observatory

Located in Brembate di Sopra, the Torre del Sole is a privileged observation point from which to enjoy the wonders of the entire universe.
The Astronomical Park
It will help you recognize and understand the space around us, but it will involve you in activities and projections that will immerse you in the charm and mystery of the Universe.
With the guided tour of the structure, you will be able to access the Planetarium, the Solar Laboratory and the Observatory; the show begins even before entering, with the Panoramic Lift and the Aerial Walkway which will lead you to the top from which you will have a >exceptional view which extends for almost 20 kilometres.
The Planetarium
Travel among the wonders of space, come and observe one of the most beautiful and shining skies you have ever seen.
A real sky simulator which, through the projection of images on a hemispherical screen placed above the spectators, allows the appearance of the sky to be reproduced in a realistic manner.
The planetarium, as well as an inexhaustible educational tool, represents the best ace up the sleeve for a public astronomical observatory in the event of bad weather or adverse weather conditions.
The system allows you to:
– project images, animations or films onto the hemispherical dome;
– view the appearance of the sky at any time;
– visualize the geometric elements of astronomical geography;
– show the apparent movements of the Earth;
– show the movements of the celestial vault;
– reproduce all notable celestial phenomena;
– travel through time and space.
You will certainly be fascinated by the planetarium: an exciting sky simulator that will make you feel at the center of the Universe, thanks to the panoramic full-dome documentaries, i.e. projected full screen!

A very modern Conference Room capable of seating 120, from which you have direct access to the planetarium, with an eight-metre diameter dome.
Refreshment Point, Equipped space with tables and chairs available to visiting groups, Astroshop.
The Planet Park
Large outdoor area dedicated to both recreational, educational and hospitality purposes, which can be used for outdoor events.
There is a model of the solar system suspended 4.5 meters above the ground with the representation of the Planets and their orbits.
