Household tools and utensils from generations of farmers and artisans as a testimony to the past.

The Ethnographic Museum houses a collection that brings together various testimonies of the human and social history of Valtravaglia, and particularly of the Municipality of Castelveccana.
The collection is currently divided into two sections featuring household tools and utensils.

After an initial cataloging, the various pieces were selected and restored where necessary.
Other pieces were added to the initial core, enriching the collection.
The ethnographic collection is aimed particularly at young people, who have the opportunity to see simple yet functional objects that testify to the hard work and dedication of generations of farmers, artisans, and housewives who once lived in our area.

Even older visitors will find a wealth of interest and food for thought. The objects on display invite viewers to reconstruct a world long gone, a rare opportunity to rediscover a past of great historical and cultural interest.
