The only adventure park in Europe inside an ancient mine, the Speleological Park, located 100 meters deep in the heart of the mountain, is truly one of a kind.

Adrenaline-filled and interesting experience. A guide will accompany you for 75 minutes along the entire route (about 1 kilometre), telling the story of these mines and the people who, for centuries, have worked underground here in precarious conditions.

You can travel along a route to live an unforgettable adventure to discover the history and beauty of these mines.

The route includes adventurous passages over natural cavities (even 55 meters deep!), rope bridges, sections to cross with pulleys, climbing, via ferratas, zip lines with descents up to 100 meters deep and many truly adrenaline-filled passages

All in absolute safety (harness and protective helmet are provided) and excessive commitment or physical preparation is not necessary.

A dive into the past, entering the tunnels and discover the cultivation chambers, the wells, the fireplaces and the shafts.

The opportunity to see the ancient work tools up close and along the way a guide will explain the origins and history of the mines, the minerals present and the extraction techniques.

To access the Dossena Speleological Park you must be at least 12 years old and booking is mandatory.
The visit is carried out even in case of bad weather as it takes place entirely inside the mine.

The mines, a few kilometers from Dossena, even studied by Leonardo Da Vinci for the particular extraction techniques that were used here, are a true natural and cultural heritage and an ideal trip for adults and children.

You will be able to observe the tunnels, accompanied by a guide, and go inside the mountain where miners once extracted calamine and fluorspar. The safe tunnels are now accessible.

Outside it is possible to visit the former buildings of the compressor room, the blacksmith’s forge and you will be able to see an old locomotive in operation for transporting the extracted material.

The ticket also includes a visit to the museum in the town centre.
