An easy kayak tour to discover Lake Iseo and Monte Isola. Thanks to the kayak you will enjoy a privileged observation point from the lake. First you will encounter the famous Sao Paulo Island, a small private island. Moving towards Monte Isola, you will then admire the Rocca Martinengo, a defensive castle that overlooks the coast and the Santuario della Ceriola, which dominates the lake from top.
Paddling along the coast of Monte Isola we will then reach Peschiera Maraglio, the main town on the island. Finally, you will return to the meeting point to conclude the experience.
Lake Iseo is wedged at the end of Valle Camonica, in the heart of the Lombardy Prealps, acting as a watershed between the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia. Inside it houses Monte Isola, the largest lake island in Italy and home to the cultural event “The Floating Piers” by the artist Christo in 2016.
Accompanied by an expert guide, you will kayak the surface of this lake and admire the beauty of Monte Isola and the pearls it hides.
