One of the most iconic and scenic lakes in Italy is undoubtedly Lake Como, a splendid lake surrounded by green hills, postcard villages and sumptuous lakeside homes.
Lake Como is a Lombard alpine lake nestled at the foot of the Alps and not too far from the border with Switzerland. The lake has the characteristic shape of an upside-down Y with two branches extending towards the south.
