There are many beaches along Lake Maggiore. If you’re looking for somewhere to sunbathe or go diving around the lake, Arolo Beach and Reno are two Public and well-equipped Beaches suitable for families with children.

Arolo Beach
A large lawn with benches and lime trees, which provide shade all day. An easily accessible concrete dock allows you to swim without the discomfort of hard rocks under your feet.

This beach is more well-equipped and family-friendly. You can lay out your towels and enjoy an unparalleled view of the lake and the (partial) shade of a large, centuries-old plane tree.
Equipped with showers, restrooms, and a bar open from May to September.

Suitable for everyone, including families with small children, who can play in the sandbox and on the games on the beach, near the bar.
It is also accessible for the disabled, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

During the hottest hours of the day, the trees along the beach will provide much-needed shade.
It’s very popular with tourists in the summer, so finding parking on the lakeside isn’t always easy.
Reno Beach
This well-maintained sand and gravel beach attracts many locals and foreign tourists during the summer, closely resembling the destinations of the Romagna Riviera.

Breathtaking views and a wilder atmosphere. The landscape, dominated by the mountains behind the lake, is spectacular.
One of the best places to spend a few hours relaxing on a beautiful sunny day and enjoy a pleasant swim.

Equipped with showers and completely free, it offers various services such as restaurants, ice cream parlors, bistros, and pizzerias in the immediate vicinity.
Access to the beach is via a steep paved descent from the town center to the lake, along which there are some paid parking lots.
