Parco Giona Beach
Park and Beach right in the center of Maccagno. Parco Giona beach is one of the largest and most complete on the Lombardy side of Lake Maggiore. It opens onto a beautiful lawn overlooking the water, with a direct view of the Cannero Castles, right in front.
The pebble and grass beach offers many opportunities for recreation. Equipped with showers, restrooms, and plenty of entertainment options, including a basketball court and beach volleyball court, a small skate park, and a children’s playground.
Suitable for families with children: you can spend the whole day here and have a picnic lunch, just steps from the lake, in the shade provided by the numerous trees.
A few meters from the shore is a platform from which you can dive, popular with both adults and children: ideal for swimming!

During the summer months, a kiosk with a bar, pizzeria, and restaurant is open, while parking is convenient and nearby.
Ronco delle Monache Beach
It is located after the Maccagno tunnels, on the road leading to the Swiss border.
A quiet, little-known corner, with the clearest water on Lake Maggiore.
Thanks to the nearby parking, it’s convenient even for those who don’t want to walk too far.
Lido di Zenna Beach
Beach in Zenna, near the Swiss border, about a 10-minute drive from the town of Maccagno con Pino e Veddasca.
One of Lake Maggiore’s typically pebbled beaches, where you can lounge peacefully without any hesitation. The panorama and view of Lake Maggiore that can be enjoyed from this beach are enviable.
The Lido di Zenna beach is also suitable for families with children, who can play in the green area near the beach, where some games are available.
The beach is not equipped (no showers, changing rooms, umbrellas, or restrooms), but there are several public restaurants nearby.
Lido Windsurf Beach
Just minutes from the Swiss border, Lido Windsurf Beach is an excellent alternative for those seeking relaxation, nature, and convenient services.
Located next to the Grotto Mazzardit restaurant, it is easily reached via a small wooden bridge.
The beach is grassy, with plenty of space to sunbathe, read a book, or have a picnic.
You can choose between a free area or an area equipped with loungers and umbrellas. The water is clean, and the view of the lake, as in all of this northern part, is truly breathtaking.
