Museum of Italian Design at the Triennale, inside the Palazzo dell’Arte. It’s not just a collection of objects, but a museum that chronicles the evolution of Italian Design from the mid-20th century to the present day through a permanent collection of over 1,600 pieces (many of which are on rotation), temporary exhibitions, in-depth studies, and a critical approach.

The museum has a large display case that allows a view inside, piquing the curiosity of passersby, and the exhibitions change themes every year.

Permanent Exhibition
An innovative exhibition that presents icons of Italian design (from Giò Ponti to Ettore Sottsass, from the Castiglioni brothers to Magistretti) not in chronological order, but by themes and connections, stimulating new interpretations.

Temporary Exhibitions
The Triennale regularly hosts major international exhibitions dedicated to designers, movements, or specific themes.

Family Play Space
On the Park Level, our new creative space is open to everyone, where you can explore, play, and spend time together.
Family programs for playing, exploring, and learning about art, aiming to stimulate children’s creativity by offering activities inside and outside the institution.

Bathrooms with changing tables, family menus, and a sensory backpack that makes the exhibitions accessible to children with neurodivergent needs.
Garden
Open in spring and summer, the Giancarlo De Carlo Garden is a space open to all that hosts the works of great artists and designers

Food in the Garden
Overlooking the park are the Cucina Triennale restaurant and café and Voce Triennale, a space dedicated to music and listening, with its cocktail bar featuring blends Signature
Music
A rich program of Concerts and DJ sets in the Garden lights up the Triennale’s nights during the warmer months.

Triennale Voice
Music and performance. Located on the Triennale Park level, in the former Old Fashion nightclub, a space dedicated to sound with a bar and a program of concerts, DJ sets, sound installations, and listening events
Restaurant
In the greenery of Sempione Park, a restaurant and bar inspired by the 1930s Triennale with a large garden for outdoor dining.
From breakfast to afternoon tea, aperitifs, lunch, and dinner, a break in our spaces dedicated to relaxation, dining, and entertainment is an experience to share and remember.

Terrazza Triennale. On the rooftop of the Triennale, with a unique view of the Milan skyline.
A welcoming, seasonal, high-quality cuisine based on recipes that are part of the history of Milan and the surrounding area. A unique culinary experience, like the place that hosts it. Signature drinks and Milanese specialties are available at the bar.
You Don’t need a Ticket to access the restaurants and bars.
Entrance to the Triennale and the new Park Level is Free and open to all.
