An exciting journey to discover the sky, for adults and children who, accompanied by sounds, suggestive music and a shower of shooting stars, will live an unforgettable experience.

The Planetarium is like a theatre, it does not have an exhibition section, but it is visited to attend shows dedicated to the starry sky, constellations and more generally dedicated to astronomical and scientific (calendar available in the Shows Section).
A visit to the Planetarium is a real astronomical journey among Planets, Nebulae, Stars and Meteorites capable of enchanting and teaching at the same time.
SHOWS FOR CHILDREN
Associazione LOfficina offers a wide choice of shows designed to accompany children and teenagers in their first approaches to astronomy thanks to a presentation method designed to be fun and engaging.
The shows last about an hour, they take place in the dark and include moments of interaction with the conductor. To ensure that the experience in the Planetarium is enjoyed to the fullest, we recommend these activities starting from the age of 6, the age at which children begin, thanks to school, to become familiar with numbers and words.

We offer many other titles in rotation throughout the year, including: Three, two, one… impact! – Galileo’s Universe – Luna, we are coming! – Where does Santa Claus live? – The Befana is looking for a home – The sky upside down: Halloween night – Adventure among the stars: in search of the Easter rabbit – At Carnival every star is worth…
UNIVERSITY THURSDAY
Promotion dedicated to all university students who want to participate in the in-depth scientific shows and themed conferences that take place on Thursday evenings at 9.00 pm in the Planetarium.
Inside the Planetarium the images of the Stars and their movements in the sky are projected unlike the Observatory or Astronomical Park where the observation is real.
The activities we offer at the Planetarium are conducted live with a strong component of interaction with the audience in the room.

The Planetarium is also an immersive multimedia system where you literally “enter” a sky full of stars that is difficult, indeed impossible to forget.
The Planetarium of Milan, officially Civic Planetarium “Ulrico Hoepli”, is a building located in the gardens of Porta Venezia in Milan. Equipped with a large dome, it is equipped inside with an instrument also called a planetarium which projects and represents the image of the stars and their movements on the celestial vault.

Our methodology can be traced back to what is referred to as informal education: that is, bringing children to carry out practical experiences, observe and understand scientific phenomena on their own, to arrive, at a later stage, at their conceptualisation. .
In this path the figure of the Animator stands out as a “facilitator”, i.e. the one who guides and directs the personal path of the participants.

The objective of this methodology is to bring children and young people closer to scientific and technological culture through an informal and interactive teaching approach (touching with your hands and knowing through doing).
The building is located inside the Indro Montanelli Public Gardens of Porta Venezia, Palestro Metro stop, Line 1 (follow the signs for “Museo Storia Naturale”; looking at the façade of the Museum, the Planetarium is a few tens of meters to the right); Tram 9, Porta Venezia Railway Link.
