The Museum of Toys and Children is one of the largest toy museums in Europe and the oldest in Italy, founded in 1982 by Paolo Franzini Tibaldeo.
It hosts thousands of original toys that cover three centuries of childhood history, offering a fascinating journey through social and cultural events, technological innovations, artistic movements and pedagogical changes
The collection ranges from the artisanal toys of the Enlightenment to the plastic age, through the romantic toy, the golden age, the interwar period and the innovation of the 1950s.
The exhibition itineraries are both historical and thematic: you can discover, for example, toys for girls, the game of war, the circus and the theater, up to games that educate about fun science
