Ski mountaineering is the most authentic and adventurous way to experience the mountains in winter. Far from the chaotic and crowded ski slopes, this discipline allows you to climb the snow-capped peaks for a truer contact with nature.
The effort is amply rewarded by personal satisfaction, by the panorama and by the silences that only the mountains can offer in winter. And the descent, always too short, on the fresh, powdery snow is fun and pure adrenaline, with the thrill of leaving your mark where few or no one has previously descended.
HOW IT IS DONE
Depending on the itinerary chosen, you will find yourself with your guide at the point indicated at the time of booking. After dressing and preparing the skis with skins, a short and quick technical briefing will follow, to align you and your companions with the mountain guide on the behavior to be followed during the outing and on the safety procedures to be respected. You will then be ready to go on your ski mountaineering trip!
It is an activity reserved for those who already possess the technical and safety skills of ski mountaineering.

The exit is reserved for people with at least medium skiing ability
Bring technical equipment, not included in the fee: boots, sunglasses, hat, gloves, sweatshirt or fleece, synthetic t-shirt, backpack with water bottle and snacks, winter trekking or ski trousers, windbreaker, skis with ski mountaineering bindings, skins, avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe. ARTVA shovel and probe can be rented from the organisation
