Volandia is a “Park and Museum”, with numerous spaces – outdoors and indoors – dedicated to the little ones and to all the children within us: Simulators of flight, Planetarium, Models, Ogliari section, Library, Films, Bar, Restaurant and a well-stocked Volandia Store.
Flight Simulators
Volandia offers its visitors the opportunity to try flying planes or helicopters thanks to the flight simulators positioned in the designated area near the children’s area and restaurant.
The area is equipped with four stations that reproduce the cockpit of a single-seater aircraft, a cockpit station of the MB339 with a virtual reality experience, a station inside a helicopter, the AW319, and some simplified stations dedicated to children under 12 years old.
The Museum is divided into seven areas: the forms of flight, the fixed wing, the rotary wing, the space pavilion, the drones, the model aircraft and the children’s area.
It recounts the aeronautical epic in all its forms, from the pioneering flights of the early 1900s to the futuristic tiltrotor, from hot air balloons to the conquest of space along an exhibition route of over 2 km.
In Volandia there are various areas designed to meet the needs of families with children of all ages. In fact, the Park offers all its visitors free access to over 1000 square meters of indoor play areas, with inflatables, trampolines, toy cars and many games suitable for children between 3 and 12 years old.
On the hottest days, children can also use the large outdoor play area, in the immediate vicinity of the Volandia Flight Bistrot, to give vent to their desire for fun!
For Children
Planes, helicopters, hot air balloons and working model railways, play areas, bathrooms equipped with changing tables (both for women and men), sanitary fixtures and sinks for the little ones
Pic-Nic area
For outdoor lovers who want to enjoy a packed lunch, outdoor areas equipped with tables and benches are available in the immediate vicinity of the Baby Volandia area and the Flight Bistrot
