For those who want to enjoy nature and coolness, a small natural pool is ideal for a refreshing dip surrounded by lush vegetation.
The Campione del Garda Waterfall is located along trail number 267, which starts from Campione square and ascends through the gorge of the San Michele stream.
A spectacular waterfall with a drop of about 15 meters, and a fascinating trail that passes through a gorge with waterfalls and rock faces. The crystal-clear water forms a natural pool at the base, making it a perfect place for a refreshing dip, especially during the summer months.
Once you reach the Campione del Garda square, cross a small bridge and from there the path to this spectacular waterfall begins (a short walk).
The trail is short but has some hairpin bends and a section where caution is required; however, it’s a popular destination even for a short, easy hike near Lake Garda.
Near the waterfall is a small path for direct access, located after a couple of hairpin bends along the main trail.
There’s also a ladder to climb down and swim or simply see and photograph it up close. Truly spectacular!

1) Departure from Campione del Garda: Begin your hike from the main square in Campione del Garda.
Route along the San Michele Stream: Follow trail 267 that climbs along the San Michele Stream gorge.
Arrival at the Waterfall: After a short walk, you’ll reach the waterfall.
2) For those seeking a slightly longer and more scenic route, trail no. 110 connects Campione to Pregasio and continues towards Pieve di Tremosine, passing through tunnels carved into the rock with spectacular views of Lake Garda and the surrounding nature.
