A valuable Art Nouveau structure in iron and cast iron in the historic center of the city (upper part of Corso Mazzini). One of the focal points of the city centre.
Many places have opened in recent years in the area adjacent to the market and, within the market itself, there are traditional stalls selling fruit, vegetables and typical foods from the Marche region.

The building was built in the mid-1920s by workers from the nearby shipyard, who used metal from some decommissioned ships. The Mosaics from the Roman era found are also noteworthy just below Corso Mazzini and the market headquarters.

There is not yet a definitive project, but most would like the recovery of the Covent Garden style structure in London, together with the recovery of numerous mosaics from the Roman era (1st century BC – 1st century AD) found in Corso Mazzini during the works for the implementation of the market itself in 1926.
