A truly unique and special panorama dominated by a very suggestive work of art that dominates and blesses an extraordinary landscape that goes from Pesaro to Teramo.

The Christ of the Marche is a 2.70 meter high black granite sculpture, created by the artist from the Marche Nazareno Rocchetti and located since 2010 in Avenale di Cingoli, in the Macerata area.
The sculpture represents a Christ without a cross, who almost seems to embrace and watch over the entire Marche region, with his arms outstretched in a gesture of welcome and protection.

One hand is contracted by pain and torn by nails, while the other is free and open, a symbol of hope and consolation.
The statue is located on a panoramic plateau known as the “Balcony of the Marche”, from which you can enjoy a view that ranges from the sea to the mountains, embracing a large part of the regional territory.

The work is intended to represent a living Christ, who while remembering suffering, is ready to console and protect humanity and the region itself
The Christ of the Marche is located near the Domus Bonfili. To get there, reach the locality of Avenale, near the town you will find the sign for the Cristo delle Marche that will take you up a rather bumpy dirt road

The site is accessible via hiking trails that cross the Conero Park, a protected natural area known for its scenic beauty and biodiversity
