Known as “the Country of Murals“, it is a real free open-air museum of Street Art, with almost 100 Works painted on the walls, doors and windows of the village.

The transformation of Braccano into this painted town began in 2001 thanks to the initiative of some inhabitants, the participation of students of the Academies of Brera, Macerata and Urbino, and subsequently of international artists.

At the entrance to the village there is a large mural of a Wolf created by the artist Massimo Melchiorri.

dedicated to the memory of Don Enrico Pocognoni, a central figure of the local Resistance and Gold Medal for Civil Valor represents a place of memory and reflection on the values ​​of freedom, solidarity and human dignity, embodied by the figure of Don Enrico Pocognoni and the protagonists of the Marche Resistance

It hosts Documents, Photographs, Testimonies and Materials that tell the story of the local Resistance, the sacrifice of Don Pocognoni and the life of the community during the Second World War.
