The canyon
The Marmitte dei Giganti are a natural canyon resulting from the erosive work of the Metauro river in the stretch between the town of Calmazzo and the town of Fossombrone.
The charm of this narrow and deep gorge is linked to its particular morphology which features circular wells dug into the rock, high vertical walls which in some places reach 30 meters in height and a water level with points of depth of approximately 15 metres.
Length and durability
The route has a total length of approximately 2km and a duration, including training, of 2 hours.
