A rare example of a noble residence from the early Roman imperial age transformed into a Virtual Museum that displays the remains of an ancient, richly decorated home.

The Domus of Via dell’Abbondanza represents an excellent example of a Roman aristocratic residence, famous for its Mosaics, the refined distribution of the rooms and the Innovative Musealization, which allows you to immerse yourself in the history of Pisaurum and the urban transformations of Pesaro from antiquity to the Middle Ages

Located in the historic center of the city, this domus has been transformed into a virtual museum that displays the remains of an ancient, richly decorated home.
A path equipped with non-invasive technologies to offer visitors an informative but at the same time scientific approach.
The finds that emerged during the excavation were put on display in two display cases dedicated to the Roman era and the medieval and Renaissance phases.

Ceramics, Oil Lamps and Objects of Everyday Life are on display. The Head of a Small Sleeping Eros in terracotta stands out for its importance.

Great impact is entrusted to the Virtual Tour, a true unicum in the Marche: on the reinforced concrete walls of the building, three-dimensional reconstructions of the ancient rooms of the domus are projected that allow you to imagine how daily life took place and to ‘immerse’ yourself in the atmosphere of the Pisaurum of the Roman era.

The path for people with visual impairments offers Braille panels and tactile models;
Visitable exclusively with personalized opening with reservation required within 48 hours prior to the visit.
