Villa Caprile also hosts the Gothic Line Museum with the aim of enhancing and preserving the memory of the German presence at Villa Caprile during the Second World War, when the villa was used as a military outpost on the Gothic Line

Relics, documents and historical materials from excavations and research carried out in the Villa Caprile area, including bunkers, trenches and other military artifacts.

In the Villa Caprile Woods, called “Bosco delle Trincee”, the German trenches and bunkers have been mapped and made accessible to visitors, with information panels and guided tours.

Among the exhibits on display are war objects, Uniforms, Ammunition, Photographs and Testimonies of military and civilian life during the Gothic Line period
