The Urbino Musica Antica Festival is an annual event held in Urbino in July, dedicated to Ancient music and its performance

In the magnificent setting of this important medieval city, for nine days we sing, we play and we dance, alternating individual lessons in the morning with many group activities in the afternoon, including the orchestra, the consort, the chamber music, polyphony, the oratorio workshop, Renaissance and Baroque dance.

The Concerts are held in suggestive places such as the Courtyard of Honor of the Palazzo Ducale, the Throne Room, the Oratorio di San Giuseppe, Piazza Rinascimento, Piazza Duca Federico and other historic spaces in Urbino.

Internationally renowned artists and young emerging talents with a repertoire of ancient music from the Middle Ages to the Baroque and Classical era, with performances of works by Bach, Frescobaldi, Scarlatti, Boccherini, Handel and other historical composers.

In addition to concerts, the festival offers master classes for musicians, including morning lessons and afternoon group activities such as orchestra, consort, chamber music, polyphony, and workshops on oratorio and Renaissance and Baroque dance
