An experience where you don’t have to rush, a slow moving with observation and relaxation, a walk in the greenery to admire rare animals that are difficult to see elsewhere. Excellent opportunity for naturalists, bird-watching enthusiasts and families with children.

The La Torbiera Wildlife Park is a protected natural area that includes an area open to the public and a protected area for the protection of wildlife.

Special attention is paid to Italian and European fauna and to the rarest feline species in the world today.
The peat bog environment is born from the progressive accumulation of dead plant parts on the bottom of lakes. In wet soil, the lack of oxygen prevents oxidation processes and the complete decomposition of plants.

The “La Torbiera” wildlife park is considered the most important Italian center for the protection of species threatened with extinction.
Visiting the park, through a walking route in a natural environment of the highest value, is also a way to contribute to conservation projects in the places of origin of the animals.

The areas that house the animals have been created for their well-being, with thick vegetation where they can take refuge, so it is the animal itself that decides when and how to expose itself to the public view.
The animals that most fascinate children are inevitably Tigers, Snow Leopards, European Wolves but even more so Monkeys. It is also possible to observe Roe Deers that let you get surprisingly close, Otters, Minor Pandas, …

The lake around which the entire park tour route develops is populated by many aquatic species such as Pelicans, Storks (which have built their nests in the trees around the lake), Geese and various species of Anatidae.
The Park has an Area with tables used for Picnics, Bar, Shop. Restaurant near the park.
