The city is invaded by the light-hearted, prankster and irreverent spirit of Burattinarte and its artists from all over the world. Filling the calendar is a kaleidoscope of very different workshops, games and shows.
Shows for children and families with emotions and laughter, poems and jokes, profound reflections and street jokes.
For the entire duration of the event interactive game installations and intergenerational creative workshops, and then, in the historic center of the city, traveling shows, incursions, miniature theatres, animation
The unifying element will be the active involvement of the public, called from time to time to be creative creators of puppets or puppets, participating in skill tests, ancient games and witty and unusual shows .
Burattinarte International Puppet Theater Festival is an international festival of puppet theater which for many years has striven to spread the art of puppets, marionettes and shadows and puppets
Shows, divided into 4 strands: stage, alternative, for adults and itinerant.
Workshops aimed at 3/6 year old children to learn how to build and animate their own puppet focused on the birth of the puppet/character and the animation of the newly built puppet
All shows have free admission.
The Festival will continue with other events throughout the summer in various municipalities in the province of Cuneo
The municipalities of the different editions were: Alba, Bra, Castagnito, Corneliano d’Alba, Grinzane Cavour, Guarene, Murazzano, Novello, Piobesi d’Alba, Santa Vittoria d’Alba.
