The steamship that has plied the waters of Lake Maggiore since 1908, with an impressive length of 52.2 meters and a capacity of up to 700 passengers, the Lombardia represented the pinnacle of naval engineering of the time, standing out as the largest in its class.
The steamship was not only a symbol of elegance and power, but also a silent witness to historical change. After serving for nearly half a century, in 1958 the Lombardia began a new life as a floating restaurant.
