Asti – Magical Christmas Town with wooden houses, decorations, sweets and gifts

An enchanted place where you can rediscover the scents, colors and traditional notes of Christmas. In November and December, the historic Piazza Alfieri dresses up as a party, hosting 130 wooden houses where you can find artisan products, gastronomy and street food.

The streets and squares of the city of Asti are once again populated with wooden houses decorated with Christmas lights and decorations, music and typical scents of this period of the year.

On the counters displayed artisanal products with handmade objects and decorations and local food and wine proposals with a wide food choice that includes both traditional dishes and more innovative options .

It ranges from objects to Italian and European gastronomy, up to the dedicated street food area.

Among the stalls, there are gift basket packages carefully hand-packaged by traders and artisans with the possibility of creating your own tailor-made package on the spot.

Then again sweets, wines, cured meats (the fennel, truffle and barbera flavored salamis are highly recommended) to be purchased individually, wooden toys, handmade wool creations from local seamstresses, and we could go on and on.

A selection of houses of excellent local producers and the “PalaTartufo”, which will host “I Gioielli del Territorio”, starring the “King Truffle”.
