No nets and cages but bushes and water tanks. The biopark was created with the aim of raising awareness of and protecting animals, conserving and defending species at risk, supporting research and exploring environmental issues.

the Madagascar of lemurs and giant tortoises; the Asian Jungle of gibbons and tigers; the Bay of African Penguins; the Farm of the Worlds with Somali donkeys, dromedaries, llamas, alpacas, wallabies, prairie dogs and Watussi oxen; the Amphitheater of Petra with its majestic birds of prey; the Serengeti with giraffes, zebras, ostriches, rhinoceroses and many other species;
the unmissable Hippo Underwater, the first special outdoor aquarium in Italy, where it is possible to see hippos swimming underwater among 2,000 colorful tropical fish;
the area dedicated to interaction with docile animals, considered domestic in the places of origin of the species, such as Tibetan goats and Comisan sheep; the Tree of Life where you can admire iguanas, boas, pythons and monitor lizards.
By exploring the 9 African and Asian habitats you learn, while having fun, curiosities, particularities and problems of the species thanks also to the many meetings with biologists. The animals housed in the biopark come from other European zoological structures that are part of the EAZA association, none come from nature.
Furthermore, in the summer 2 aquatic habitats with a high experiential level await you to make you experience memorable emotions: you can swim next to African penguins, separated only by a glass wall, while relaxing on Bolder Beach and have fun on the Hippo Rapids to discover hippos underwater at Malawi Beach.

Bolder Beach and is one of the most popular bays on the Cape Peninsula in South Africa. Due to its exceptional peculiarity, ZOOM has decided to recreate it and make you live a magical experience.
Only at Bolder Beach, the ZOOM bay, can you swim next to penguins and relax on a splendid golden beach!
The Bolder Beach swimming pool is surrounded by white sand and African rocks: a clear, clear paradise in which to spend a relaxing day of peace and relaxation.
Bolder Beach is not a water park, but a true oasis of peace of 13,000 square metres, of which 1,800 is a swimming pool.
Sunbeds and umbrellas
It is possible to rent (online, at the ticket office or at the entrance to the swimming pools, subject to availability) sunbeds and umbrellas to relax on the beach or choose to use the solarium for free. Physical distancing is guaranteed both on the beach and in the solariums.
Play areas for the little ones

Flying demonstration of birds of prey
Every day, at one or more times of the day depending on the season, it is possible to watch the Birds of Prey Flight Demonstration.
An evocative experiential talk in which, in the company of ZOOM’s expert falconers, it is possible to witness the flight of these magnificent birds up close. The experience is immersive to the point that you can see them pass right above your head.
THE BUTTERFLY OASIS
A large greenhouse in which to walk surrounded by over 300 colorful butterflies!
Observe them closely, let them land on you and discover the chrysalis nursery.
