You can use the rest areas at the panoramic points, or have a picnic in the farmers’ ciabòt and indulge your desire to walk, without having to worry about preparing a packed lunch.
On the Ecomuseum’s thematic paths it is possible to book the Bio Pic-Nic package in advance which you can enjoy in a pleasant stop along the way or in a ciabòt, a small rural building in the open countryside.
Omelettes, salami, cheeses, salads and “green bath”: these are just some of the simple but delicious dishes ready to take with you.
The ciabòt are small rural houses in the open countryside, and in the past they had the function of rest and shelter for farmers busy at work. Tools were kept there, they had a water collection and served as a shelter in case of bad weather.
Today some of these ciabòt placed in strategic and easily accessible points are used for tourism.
