Spring Event, the city center is filled with Color, Music, Circus, Rock and Magic, with an opening Parade, performances and a festive atmosphere.
Festivart (or Novara Festivart) is the International Street Arts Festival of Novara.
A lively and free event that transforms the historic center into a large open-air stage with circus, juggling, acrobatics, theater, dance, rock music, magic, and illusionism shows.
It is organized by the Municipality of Novara in collaboration with the Dimidimitri cultural association (circus and theater school), with an inclusive focus on families, children, and audiences of all ages.
It typically takes place on the last weekend of May or the first of June, for 3 days (Friday-Sunday), with free admission and shows from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm until late evening.
Widespread Performances
International and local street artists in main squares and streets (Piazza Duomo, Corso Cavour, Corso Cavallotti, Corso Italia, etc.): jugglers, acrobats, clowns, dancers, musicians, circus performers.
Special Sections
“Rock on the Street” (rock/pop musical performances), “Magic Street” (magic and illusionism), colorful opening parade.
Competition
Competing artists voted by the public, with a final awards ceremony (often in Piazza Duomo on Sunday evening).
