The feast of San Donato takes place in two moments: on 7 August the religious feast is celebrated with the procession of the statue of the saint up to the pillar of the saint of the same name located outside the town, while during the first Monday of September and the previous Sunday it takes place the secular part of the festival with the chariot race and the San Donato fair.

Palio of the Villages
The Palio dei Borghi represents the most successful event in terms of involvement and participation: over 1,000 participants from Pralormo and former residents compete in various capacities between sporting disciplines and food and wine specialties.
The town is divided into 5 villages which reflect the historical toponyms: Villa, Jiere, Praccioni-Spina, Cavallo-Roncaglia, Scarrone-Borgo Nuovo.

In Pralormo, as in other towns in Piedmont, it is customary to race the cart on the occasion of the patronal festival. Tradition has it that it is a four-wheeled wooden cart pulled by oxen but over time it has been modernized and adapted to the various situations locals.
The main purpose of the chariot race was to raise funds for the needs of the Church dedicated to the Patron Saint.

A week of intense and exciting competitions that ends with the Cross Country Race and the Egg Throw.
