Annual and traditional Food event in which Frogs are the protagonists with dishes and specialties based on frogs fried in batter and themed menus, all accompanied by good Music and motor Rallies of tractors, Motorbikes and vintage Cars, routes and product tastings Typical local places.

In ancient times, San Ponso was crossed by rivers and streams with uncertain courses and dotted with a myriad of bodies of water which made it a marshy and humid environment, populated by a notable quantity of amphibians who found a perfect habitat there.

Thanks to the reclamation work of the ancient Romans, the territory was restored, but, in the areas that remained marshy, frogs and toads continued to proliferate, becoming a source of sustenance for the local populations.

Even today, although centuries have passed, the inhabitants of San Ponso are nicknamed the Ranër (in Piedmontese, those of the frogs), and it is for this reason that, from a brilliant idea of the local Pro Loco and its presidents, the Sagra was born of the Frogs!

Rich surprises, great meals and music every evening are expected.
