All the hues of the rainbow for the colorful spring event that enlivens the beach of Margherita di Savoia
The International Kite Festival (or Kite Festival) in Margherita di Savoia is one of the most colorful and evocative events in the region, transforming the beach into a sky full of giant, artistic, and traditional kites from all over the world.
A magical event for families, enthusiasts and the curious: the sky fills with giant kites (up to tens of meters tall).
It usually takes place between late April and early May and includes workshops, spectacular flights, and the participation of numerous international kite flyers.
Creative Forms (animals, characters, abstracts), Fighter Kites, Stunt Kites and Artistic Installations.
An unmissable opportunity to explore the art of kite flying, meet international artists, and participate in an event that will engage all generations.
It includes a prefestival (April 24th to 30th) with preparations, workshops, and first performances.
The festival itself is concentrated on the key days, often from May 1st to 4th.
Free admission, open to all (usually from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM or similar).
Children can participate in free workshops to build and customize kites, while adults can enjoy Shows, Concerts and Food and Wine Tastings featuring local food and wine.

Live music, Entertainment, Street Food, food and wine stands (typical Apulian specialties such as focaccia, bombette, fresh fish).

It’s a different kind of stroll on the beach. A moment to indulge in an explosion of joy and color, which promises to entertain people of all ages.
Upon registration, participants will receive a kit that includes a bag, sunglasses, and three sachets of colored powder.
