🌵 It looks like the Sahara, but in front of you is the sea.
A natural desert, shaped by the wind, where dunes rise over 50 meters high. No noise, just the silence of nature reigning supreme.
To get there, you have to cross kilometers of dirt roads, past abandoned mines and landscapes that seem to have come straight out of a post-apocalyptic film. But this is precisely what makes it unique, wild, and pristine.
So special that National Geographic listed it among the most beautiful beaches in the world… and I can easily understand why.
Not to mention that this desert has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Here, you can spot deer on the dunes or sea turtles laying their eggs. And no, we’re not in Africa.
We’re in Italy. 🇮🇹
More precisely, we’re on Piscinas beach, in the municipality of Arbus.
