A rich history and a Panoramic position overlooking the town and the sea. It’s worth a visit and a little imagination to imagine what it once was like.

The Luna Castle, located in the upper part of the city, has been partially destroyed, but it’s possible to visit the perimeter and some rooms with historical artifacts.

Built in 1380 by Guglielmo Peralta, Count of Caltabellotta, the castle later passed to the Luna family through the marriage of Margherita Peralta to Artale Luna.

It is linked to the famous “Case of Sciacca”, a long-running feud between the Luna (Catalan) and Perollo (Norman) families, which affected the city for centuries.
Despite its modest size, it maintains a strong monumentality and offers a breathtaking view of Sciacca and the Mediterranean

Inside, you can admire recreations of historical weapons and armor, clothing, as well as information panels on the history of the castle.

The walls offer panoramic views perfect for evocative photos, and part of the wall serves as a restaurant under the stars.

A very simple route that can be done in 30 minutes. Affordable ticket price.
