Bagni San Filippo is a hamlet in the municipality of Castiglione d’Orcia in the province of Siena, between the Val d’Orcia and Mount Amiata. It has been known since ancient times for its warm thermal waters, which have created a magical landscape of white limestone formations, waterfalls, and small hot pools where you can bathe amidst lush green forests.
The area is quite large; the first pools you encounter along the road and up the stream are characterized by very warm, clear water, but in small quantities, enough to keep the pools warm.
