We were in doubt, but our jaws dropped the entire way!
We’re in Valcellina, and the story goes like this: there was a time when only a path existed between this valley and the plain.
Then came hydroelectric power and artificial lakes, and the idea of finally building a road began.
So why not wedge it into a narrow natural gorge with vertiginous walls, at the bottom of which flows sapphire-colored water?

🎫 Tickets can be purchased at the entrance to the Vecchia Strada in both Ponte Antoi and Molassa and cost only €3. They even provide you with a helmet 😉
Along the route, there’s a charming 55-meter-long Tibetan bridge. The ticket to cross it is €3 and includes harness rental.
