It will be possible to find everyday and furnishing objects, Bijoux, Sculptures made of the most original and varied ceramic materials such as majolica, stoneware, porcelain, raku, terraseagliata, a riot of different shapes, colors and finishes that give a glimpse the infinite possibilities of expression of this ancient art from the noble material.
The event is part of the European tradition of single-thematic art market exhibitions, with the aim of supporting, enhancing and promoting designer ceramics.
The ceramic ateliers present come from all over Italy including the islands and will bring their own collections.
A structure called Ring will be mounted in the center of the square which will host the most significant works of each ceramist.
Workshops for adults and children are scheduled where master craftsmen will make visitors experience the emotion of creating with clay.
It will also be possible to directly meet the author of the ceramics on display who will be able to explain the processes and characteristics of his works.
The Festival is organized by Arte della Ceramica Associazione di Ceramisti from an idea of its members from Rossoramina with the support of Osservatorio Mestieri d’Arte and the Municipality of Lucca.
