Frescoes and Historic Rooms
The Palace preserves numerous frescoed rooms, including:
– the Room of the Green Columns
– the Room of the Abductions, with representations of the Rape of the Sabine Women and the Abduction of Helen of Troy,
– the Room of the Arts, dedicated to music, architecture, geography and painting.
– On the second floor there are Mythological Frescoes, such as that of Leda and Zeus, and local landscapes.
It is also home to the following Attractions
– the Casa del Parco Naturale Locale Monte Baldo
Exhibition rooms are a representative place of the Parco Naturale del Baldo and aim to tell the themes of Genesis, Structuring and Contemplation of the landscape.
There is also a Discovery room, a space designed for the younger public that aims to describe the landscape through Popular Stories and Traditions, the themes of the Alpine Pasture, the Malghe and the Forest.
– Orto dei Semplici and the Botanical Garden
the first example in Trentino of a Renaissance Botanical Garden
In front of the palace there is a large Garden divided into two areas:
– the Orto dei Semplici, with thematic flowerbeds of medicinal plants
– a Section that reproduces the natural landscape of Monte Baldo.
This space offers a unique Sensory Experience, thanks also to the Oasi dei Sensi, an accessible path designed to stimulate all the senses
In the Orto dei Semplici there are 500 plants, accompanied by an identification tag showing: name in Latin, name of the scholar who first identified, described and assigned the name to the species, family, common name in Italian, geographical distribution.

an Experiential and Multisensory path suitable for everyone to capture the beauty of four natural environments of Monte Baldo
Touch to understand, to see, to make naturalistic aspects your own, to give a chance to those who do not see or see little, to know and to those who see to learn to know through the use of the senses.
Each station is equipped with a button to listen to the soundscape present in the different natural environments, realistically reproducing the sound environment of the high-altitude environment.
The sounds were recorded specifically in nature using a directional microphone and then mixed, creating an artistic, unique and natural composition (soundscaping & sound design) harmonizing animal songs and sounds with the sounds of nature and the reference landscape.
A panel with environmental information also translated into Braille, English and German, a panel on which a series of tactile shapes specially created are applied, which allow you to perceive by touching, the shape of some plants and animals present in the 4 environments with high biodiversity.
– Monte Baldo Fossil Museum
Along the exhibition route there are 40 display cases divided into six rooms that house a large number of fossil species, all from the Baldo mountain range.
Ammonites, Corals, Nummulites, Sea Urchins, Crabs and Shark Teeth are just some of the many fossils that can be observed in the museum.
One room is entirely dedicated to the interpretation of fossils in history: from myth to scientific knowledge.
– Farmacia Maturi
beautiful rural pharmacy from the early twentieth century. It preserves the original furnishings, pottery and furnishings intact, offering an authentic testimony of the rural pharmaceutical practice of that period
– information point of the Trekking of the malghe and flowers of Baldo to visit at the “filandèla”, created to learn about the environment of the alpine meadows, pastures and malghe.
